policemen, not politicians
Hi,
I believe that this is a worthwhile petition to sign

The government want directly elected crime & police representatives at a cost of £15 million to £48 million for their election. It is a waste of time and money as we already have elected reps (Councillors) that liaise with the Police authorities. This money could pay for an extra 300 to 1000 police officers.
Gordon Brown has already broken the economy and we do not need him to squander this money as well

PM Gordo ...

I never admit to being a carer,
because of the stigma that is associated
with haveing a mental health disability in the family

Now we have someone preaching about honesty but he can't even be honest about what he is? HE IS ASHAMED TO CALL HIMSELF A CARER TO OTHER PEOPLE YET EXPECTS TO LEAD A PROTEST FOR CARERS?

I ALWAYS say " ...
